Volunteer

Northwoods Animal Shelter (NAS) has many animals that come through its doors each year. We couldn’t support the animals without our strong network of volunteers. There are many ways that individuals, like you, can change the life of one less fortunate pet. Volunteering at NAS is easy! Typically, volunteers come in during our open hours and play with cats or walk dogs. Sometimes small groups like to help with cleaning. Other volunteering opportunities do present themselves at times and we will post them on our Facebook page and/or on the front counter asking for help. The Northwoods Animal Shelter needs your help! Please visit the shelter to fill out a volunteer form and meet with a staff member in order to get started today! If you are under 16 years old, please bring an adult; only people over 16 may volunteer without a parent/guardian supervising.
